Cartagena Up is maintained by two locals:

Yatan has lived in Cartagena since 2021 and works remotely from the city. He tests WiFi speeds, tracks the cultural calendar, and runs Casa Gaviota, a private beach house in Barú.

Adri has lived in Cartagena since 2010 — longer than almost any guide writer covering this city. She verifies cafés, knows the neighborhoods, and brings fifteen years of local knowledge to every listing.

Every listing on this site was visited in person. Every WiFi speed is a real measurement. Every event comes from a local source.
